Volunteers help us achieve so much more in our communities. They are an integral part of our organisation’s DNA. Education Volunteers

Are you keen to work with children? Are you interested in environmental education? Are you looking at gaining experience and skills to help you for future job applications in the education sector?

We are looking for Education Volunteers to support our Green Generations Coordinator in a wide range of family activities we are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to assist on planning, promoting and helping deliver a range of activities involving children and families, such as environmental workshops delivered in schools, forest school activities, food growing activities.

The role would suit someone who wants to learn more about environmental education, apply their skills to support the development of others and who enjoys working with people.

Community Gardening Student Volunteers

Are you currently engaged in an environmental course at college or university? Interested in how you can gain practical experience for your CV and share your skills in the community to make a real difference? Do you have some spare time to support others to grow their own food? Well, we have opportunities to support you and your journey into the sector. Our community gardens are rich learning environments and we are looking for support in our flagship garden at Allens Cross.

Move More Eat Well Gardening Volunteers

Do you live in the wards of Longbridge, Cofton, Northfield, Rubery North or Rubery South? Are you interested in developing your horticulture skills? Have you got expertise and skills to share? If the answer to any of these is YES then this role at Northfield Ecocentre as part of the Move More Eat Well team is for you. The role would suit someone who wants to learn more about community gardening, apply their skills to support the development of others and who enjoys working with people.

If the answer to any of these is YES then this role as part of the Move More Eat Well team at Northfield Ecocentre is for you. The role would suit someone who wants to learn more about healthy eating, apply their skills to support the development of others and who enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities.

We are particularly interested in engaging volunteers from Longbridge, Cofton, Northfield, Rubery North and Rubery South.

If the answer to any of these is YES then this role as part of the Move More Eat Well team at Cycle South Brum is for you. The role would suit someone who wants to learn more about cycling, encouraging others to get active, apply their skills to support the development of others and who enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities.

We are particularly interested in engaging volunteers from Longbridge, Cofton, Northfield, Rubery North and Rubery South.
