Events & WorkshopsMichael Addison
We run a variety of events and workshops related to food growing throughout the year. These are run in one of our award winning community gardens and are designed to be fun, hands on and informative.
Aimed at people of all abilities our workshops cover a range of horticulture skills from food growing to building earth ovens and more. These practical courses will enable you to pick up skills that you can use again and again. You’ll go away from each course with an abundance of ideas, advice and handy tips to inspire and de-mystify the gardening world.
2015 dates will be released soon.
APPLE DAY 2016
Enjoy the best of autumn at our 2016 Apple Day taking place during half-term on
Wednesday 26th October, 11.30am-2.30pm.
Prepare your own pizza and/or apple tart to be baked in the earth oven, take part in apple related craft activities and games for the whole family and press your very own juice with locally harvested apples. All this in the beautiful and relaxing Masefield Community Garden (Lindsey Avenue, off Bunbury Rd, Northfield, B31 2DT) waiting to be explored.
The gardening volunteers will also be available to give you a tour and answer your gardening related questions.
